Job Overview:
Hillsbridge Express Inc. is hiring reliable and motivated Courier Drivers to join our growing delivery team in the GTA. As a courier, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages, documents, and small freight safely and efficiently across Toronto and surrounding areas.
We are looking for drivers who take pride in timely deliveries, have strong road awareness, and provide friendly, professional service to every customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver parcels and packages within the GTA (residential, commercial, and industrial clients)
- Plan delivery routes using GPS and traffic data to ensure efficiency
- Load, unload, and secure items in the vehicle safely and correctly
- Obtain required signatures, delivery confirmations, and handle paperwork
- Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in good condition
- Communicate delays or issues with dispatch clearly and promptly
- Represent Hillsbridge Express with professionalism, courtesy, and integrity
Requirements:
- Valid Ontario G Class driver’s license (or higher, if required by vehicle)
- Clean driving record (abstract required)
- Minimum 1 year of driving or delivery experience preferred
- Familiarity with GTA roads, traffic patterns, and GPS tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, carry items, and be on your feet during deliveries
- Strong time-management and communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude
- Must pass a background check and, if applicable, drug test
Service Area:
Deliveries will typically occur within:
Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton
Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill
Scarborough, Etobicoke
And other areas of the GTA as required
